Hello and welcome to HST Books.

This blog is dedicated to the writings of Hunter S. Thompson. From Scanlans magazine and Rolling Stone to Kingdom of Fear and everything in between.

Here you will find everything you need to know about the works of Dr. Thompson. Since he died in 2005 there are some of his friends who have written about their adventures and experiences they had with him over the years, their books will be included here too.

The Good Doctor’s work also appears in numerous anthologies, magazines and news papers. All of which will be covered here.

Any pictures you see here will be photos of books, magazines and papers from my collection unless otherwise stated.

The catalogue of Hunter Thompson’s work is vast, and it will take time to fill this blog with his full body of work, so please bear that in mind along with my lack of knowledge on running sites such as this before yelling at me for the delay. My friend JR will be helping me along the way.

I must add that this blog will not concern itself with the “politics” of what goes on in the World of Hunter S. Thompson. Where i have a interest in these matters, the have no place here. My hope for this blog is to inform new readers of the Doc’s work and to rekindle the passions of those already familiar. And to update everyone on the works that are being published about Hunter all the time.

I also have a keen interest in the Beats, so included here will be some stuff from my favorite Beat Publication “Beat Scene magazine.
