We have spoken of this many times in the past (see NYTimes Jan 1’74, op-ed/HST) and the only difference now is that time is getting shorter — at least for you people.

Being against the war now is like being against the bombing of Guernica in 1937 (?) try 1939 (?) and trying to hold onto a good job in Berlin at the same time. Before this bomb frenzy is over, we will have dwarfed Guernica, as well as Dresden and Hiroshima… and it was you, Charley, who paid for it. Bombs don’t come from the stork; they come from the IRS, from personal income taxes…. So think about it, Charley, when you fill out yr. forms next month. And in the meantime, read the book of Revelation, especially Chap 6 and 9 and — hell read all of it; but here’s a running start; Rev 6: 1-17 Rev 9: 1-21
