  2. Himmmmm!

How did the above get written without ONE mention of the illegal alien problem, RAOUL? It seems more than certain that you would be in full support of Special Order 40 that supposedly dictates police policy towards illegal aliens, but is more likely interpreted in liberal activist terms by city police departments, such as the LAPD.

Of course, former LA Police Chief Bratton (a full supporter of Special Order 40, in its most liberal of interpretations) is now consultant to the LAPD and the Dodgers because of the violence by Hispanic gangbangers that have left a Giant fan, Brian Stowe, in a medically induced coma for the unprovoked beating he received in the parking area of Dodger Stadium. And all of that simply because he wore a San Francisco Giant’s jersey.

Maybe the police are full of bravado with a .44 Magnum, but it seems they are wimps when facing off against the likes of Antonio Villaraigosa, and acknowledging the abject failure of the Federal Government to enforce its Constitutional mandate on Border security.

To be fair, there are police with a spine on the above issue, one being Sheriff Joe Arpaillo in Arizona. But even he cringes at sanctioning the employers who are largely responsible for hiring illegal aliens that contribute to the problem simply because so many of them have been allowed to come into the country to work on the cheap while being supported in many ways by taxpayer dollars. And this while current figures put nearly 44% of the available legal workforce on the government dole. There, of course, is eVerify that is gaining some advertising airtime to put a stop to this invasion. But there have been NO reports in the press of employer sanctions, and illegal alien employers are the real source of many of our crime problems. So eVerify is basically toothless. Maybe the reason, as some have said, that the issue is not addressed from this perspective is because it’s job security for the police to skirt around the edges of the issue.

Apparently, also, one of the most notable persons with a backbone is a woman, (Sorry, Raoul) that being Governor Jan Brewer of Arizona. But she’s not really noted for carrying a .44 Magnum. She’s more noted for being up front about the source of Arizona’s Border security problems with the Federal Government, and willing to confront the Obama Justice Dept in court. That’s more than the police are willing to do, as their bravado is apparently encased only in a holster on this particular issue, and nary a complaint otherwise.

One caveat to that would be the US Border Patrol, and the issue of Ramos and Compean who were jailed for years by the Bush Justice Department for wounding (?) a fleeing drug runner, Obaldo Aldrete-Davila, who resisted arrest and appeared to be carrying a weapon pointed at Ramos as Davila fled across the US Border into Mexico. Bush ultimately commuted their sentences, which is not a pardon, and left them with criminal records upon leaving office.
