I get a lot of emails asking if I know of reliable book sellers who keep Hunter Thompson books. I usually give them two options, one of which is Ed Smith.
Ed Smith appraised Hunter Thompson’s archive in 1997. He also produced the special editions of the Fear and Loathing Letters volumes 1 and 2 with Richard Smart of Old English Bindery. He is a member of the ABAA (Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America.) He specializes in, amongst other things, first editions and signed books. He’s one of only a few reliable book sellers I know. You can check his site here. His catalog is not limited to HST and he carries a wide range of items including some Ralph Steadman books too. You can also look here for more.
