Ok folks, it’s on us! Ron Mexico of Totally Gonzo came up with the idea of petitioning Modern Library to publish a Modern Library edition of Fear and Loathing on the Campaign trail 72. You can see his post and all the details here .
Other titles of Hunter’s that are in the Modern Library fold are Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Hell’s Angels, and Fear and Loathing in Las vegas (movie tie in.) Campaign Trail 72 would be a fitting tribute to the Doc. So do it just do it! Sign your name, it costs nothing!

Amongst other things Doc, I guess it goes a step to recognizing another of Hunter’s books as a one of the greats. I this case it’s his contribution to political commentary. He’s already in there with greats such as Tolstoy and H.G. Wells.
