Contact

Feel free to contact me for whatever reason. I will always reply to sensible comments. I will not value books, buy books, sell books or find buyers for you. I used to do all these things, and over time some folks were not happy with the value I put on a book or the length of time it took to sell a book. So, the best thing to do is not do any of it. The whiners ruined it for everybody.

    Hi Martin,
I’m liking those old articles. Around 1975 I spent a fair amount of time in a library trying to find the ones he did for the Observer without any luck. Do you know if they’re available online anywhere?
    cheers,
    Steve

I just bought Generation of Swine by Hunter S. Thompson. I didn’t really look at it too much til I got home. I noticed that it had a message written on the first pages. I’ve looked at other copies on eBay and haven’t found one with the inscription. I did learn that it’s a 1st Edition and that it’s price clipped. I figure that it might be a forgery but I’d really like to know. Hope that you might be able to help me out.

  17. [...] Firstly I will be covering his books. Beginning with “Hell’s Angels,” then “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas,” “Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail 72,” and The Great Shark Hunt. Then one or maybe two a week until completed. Each one will be in PDF form. Just click the titles below. I will do my best to cover everything. Hopefully I didn’t miss too much. There may be some details missing here or there, such as one or two names of translators. I will continue to search for such information until its complete. I will be updating anything that is left out as time goes on. If you see any errors or want to add anything contact me here. [...]
