“Generation of Swine Tales of Shame and Degradation in the ‘80s” The Gonzo Papers Vol 2 are, in a nutshell, Thompson’s San Francisco Examiner articles loaded into a book. These snappy pieces are a perfect example of how he practiced the journalism craft in his unmistakable way. First published in 1988 it’s maybe not as collectible as his earlier work but give it time.
